Chaiya Railway Station (S.R.T. Code: CIY, Thai: สถานีไชยา) is the main railway station in the northern Surat Thani Province, Thailand. It located on S.R.T. Southern Railway Line km 597+751 in Talad Chaiya Town, Chaiya District. It has 2 track in its rail yard, 2 platform and has no siding for freight trains.
Chaiya Railway Station is the one of oldest railway station in the Southern Thailand. It had been opened in 1915 in the land that later developed into the current Chaiya town. At that time the main settlement was at Phumriang, but many citizen moved to built houses near the new station, so a few year later that settlement had grown to a new town.
Chaiya Railway Station's appearance has been improved with repairs in November 2004. It was upgraded to a 2nd class station in May 2005.
As of 2006, Chaiya Railway Station serves 20 train stops and 4 trains pass per day, all of them served by S.R.T.
Many lines of minibuses connect the town of Chaiya and the station with other part of the district and neighbour districts, such as Chaiya - Bandon, Chaiya - Phunphin, Chaiya - Phumriang, Chaiya - Tha Chana, etc.
